Texas Oaks Bandit Caught In The Act

For a neighborhood of over 700 homes in a major American city, Texas Oaks South is, in my opinion, a very safe neighborhood. As one police officer told me recently, "there's a reason you don't see a lot of police oficers patrolling the streets in this neighborhood" (i.e., they don't need to). In the past 18 months (Jan. 16, 2006 to July 18, 2007), here are a few statistics: Burglary of Residence: 16 Burglary of Vehicle: 22 Auto Theft: 2 Criminal mischief: 17 Unreasonable noise: 1 (I think I was the culprit in that case) (For a more complete list of crime stats, click HERE and put Texas Oaks South in the neighborhood; check other neighborhoods for comparison while you're in there.)
